|Description:||The Manchester Family YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Richmond, is currently seeking a highly motivated, mission driven, team-oriented professional to lead our Wellness team.|

|Duties:||The Director of Wellness will be responsible for the overall supervision of all wellness programs and equipment. This Director will develop and implement innovative wellness programming and oversee the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of all Wellness, Personal Training, and Group Exercise staff. The Director will work closely with members to assist them in reaching their wellness goals, collaborate with other departments to engage members and provide excellent service, and partner with community groups to design and implement wellness initiatives.|
|Qualifications:||• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a wellness-related field, is strongly preferred |
• Two or more years of related experience in wellness management is required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities and computer proficiency are necessary
• Candidates must be able to train and evaluate staff on proper exercise instruction and teach group exercise
The following certifications are required:
• CPR/First Aid/AED
• Personal Training
• Group Exercise (must obtain within 60 days)
