| Description: | The Downtown YMCA is seeking a Head Start Teacher to develop and lead programs tailored to the needs of preschool children and their parents.

| Duties: | The Head Start Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans in a safe and nurturing environment. |
| Qualifications: | • Applicants must be energetic, dependable, and creative and have some knowledge of High Scope/Creative Curriculum
• An Associate's Degree in early childhood or elementary education is required
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred
• Two or more years experience working with pre-school children in a group setting is necessary
• CPR/First Aid certification is required
