|Description:||The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a Vice President of Property & Facilities to provide leadership and oversight to the construction, renovation, expansion, maintenance and operation of our association's facilities.|

|Duties:||The Vice President will lead our association in making sound, cost-effective and energy efficient decisions about building, renovating and expanding facilities; supervise maintenance of our vehicle fleet; negotiate contracts and oversee compliance; and provide sound expert advice, analysis and recommendations to the Executive Leadership team.|
Specific responsibilities include evaluation and recommendation of architectural, engineering and construction firms; project management for all major maintenance projects; working with regulatory agencies to secure permits, approvals and other requirements; identification and prioritization of major maintenance projects; effectively managing emergency maintenance issues; establishment and enforcement of best practices; leading the property and facilities team to ensure consistency; providing guidance to branches about repair and maintenance-related budgets; monitor energy efficiency of facilities and comply with association environmental and sustainability policies; and collaborate with the Association Director of Risk Management to ensure safe maintenance and operation of vehicle fleet.
|Qualifications:||Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (architecture, engineering or related field preferred) and a minimum of ten years of construction or facilities project management experience. Previous experience selecting service providers and overseeing contractors is necessary. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities. Organizational, problem solving and negotiation abilities are essential, as well as computer proficiency. |
