|Description:||The Northside Family YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Program Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing youth sports (basketball, cheer-leading, and blast ball). |

|Duties:||Responsibilities include serving as lead staff during sports season games; setting up/breaking down equipment; communicating respectfully with volunteers, parents, and participants while resolving any conflicts/concerns that may arise.|
Hours are primarily weekends during the seasons.
|Qualifications:||Applicants must be knowledgeable about the rules of the sports offered and have experience in areas such as: score/record keeping, coaching, or refereeing. Minimum age is eighteen; high school diploma or GED required. |
Candidate must work well with youth and enjoy working with a diverse group of staff and volunteers. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred, but not required.
