|Description:||The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking an energetic, mission-driven Vice President of Marketing and Communications to provide vision and leadership to our associationís marketing, branding and communications efforts.|

|Duties:||The Vice President will be responsible for defining, planning, implementing and analyzing the associationís marketing, brand positioning, and communications goals, including the strategic direction, oversight and implementation of all internal and external public relations, media relations, promotions, membership marketing and advertising. The Vice President will also provide structure, direction and supervision to all association and branch-specific marketing and communication efforts, serving as educator, consultant, researcher, communicator and facilitator to appropriate staff, volunteers and vendors. |
|Qualifications:||The ideal candidate will have ten or more years experience of senior-level leadership in corporate or association marketing and communications and a college degree in a related area. Additional essential traits include strong oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational ability. Applied skills in budget development and financial reporting, creative and business writing, and media relations are preferred. |
