|Description:||The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a Vice President of Communication & Marketing to provide innovative vision and strategic leadership to our associationís communications and marketing efforts.|

|Duties:||The Vice President will be responsible for overall direction and leadership of all association communications and marketing. Specific duties include developing and implementing of a comprehensive communications plan to align and support positive positioning, image and visibility throughout the association and the community; growing the association's social media platform and presence; researching, planning, and implementing association marketing initiatives in conjunction with the VP of Membership & Programs; developing and implementing major communication projects and materials for the association, including Annual Celebration and Annual Report; serving as media point of contact; collaborating with VP of Philanthropy and VP of Community Engagement to develop and support philanthropic cases for giving and volunteer engagement; supervising staff, and managing departmental budget.|
|Qualifications:||The ideal candidate will have ten or more years of experience in marketing and communications. A college degree is required, in a related field preferred. This position requires strong verbal and written communications and organizational skills; the ability to work with others in a supportive and collaborative role; and applied skills in creative/business writing, social media management, market research and analysis, graphic design, media relations and purchasing, budget development, and event planning. Must be able to effectively work with teams to accomplish departmental goals.|
